Issue: The Bol.com Product API returns a 404 error when searching for new products, and prices for existing products are not updated.
Response from the Bol.com team and their technical platform team:
Our Technical Platform team confirmed the issue is related to certain hosting providers, probably only Strato.
Looks like their IP is on Google's malicious IP list, and looks like Akamai isn't a big fan of that IP either. Rates it as attacker and scanner
TeamBifrost doesn't have a solid plan for this kind of IPs yet, so it would be a good idea for these people/partners also to complain to their providers/hosting companies.
Switch Hosting Providers: The Bol.com team recommends moving to a different hosting provider to avoid this problem. Alternatively, you can attempt to wait it out 1-2 days. In some cases, the issue may resolve itself if the block on the IP address is lifted automatically, but there is no guarantee the issue will resolve on its own.
Contact Your Current Hosting Provider: Reach out to Strato or your current hosting company to inform them of the issue. They may be able to request removal from the malicious IP list.
